Simple Snowflake Garland {Tutorial}

Hi!  Day 20 here in WeNdYs WiNtEr WoNdErLaNd!

Today it's short and sweet as I share with you a Simple Snowflake Garland!  On Day 18 I shared with you a tutorial of how to make a paper snowflake.  Check it out as a reminder if needed.  http://wendyshat.blogspot.com/2010/12/snowflakes-traditions.html

Once you make these simple snowflakes the sky well only your imagination is the limit!

I simply made a bunch of snowflakes, using a very lightweight scrapbook paper in a pale pink with metallic gold pin dots.

Then I simply attached five of the pale pink snowflakes to a very thick piece of cream colored yarn and had an instant garland to hang from the mantle.

I made another set and simply strung the snowflake garland from the headboard of my bed!

I simply hung a garland of them on a frosted tree!

A "Simple Snowflake Garland" that turned out to be rather stunning!  Where would you hang your garland?  What colors would you choose?

  1. Love your snowflakes and the paper you've made them from...georgeous! These snowflakes wouldn't fit in my bedroom (too modern style). But silver coloured snowflakes would fit perfectly with my curtains in my living. If only I had the patterns. Maybe your patterns can travel the world.
