How to Make a Scratch-Off Photo ~DIY {Craft}

Remember how fun it was as a child to be able to scratch off your Mom's coupon just to see if she won a prize?  Well now you can make your own scratch-off cards!  Just in time to add some fun to your Valentines Day cards. 

My daughter heard about this recipe to make your own Scratch-Off Photo's and decided to make some to add to her Valentines Day Cards this year.  Tons of fun and so simple too.  All you need is...

1.  Print out your favorite picture on glossy photo paper.
2.  On a piece of paper, tape the edge of the picture off so you leave the white border.
3.  On a paper plate, mix 1 part dish soap {liquid} to 3 parts acrylic paint {any color}.
4.  Paint one coat of painted mixture on photo and wait 1 hour, then paint a second coat and let dry another hour before touching.
5.  Remove tape.
6.  Using a black marker write "Scratch Me" on the bottom of your photo.
7.  Now you are ready to insert your Scratch-off Photo into your Valentine or envelope!

Your lucky recipient will LOVE it!
