Bunny Wreath {Sewing}

Spring is in the air and I'm in a funny bunny kind of mood this week!  So I'm sharing more bunny love today and showing off my bunny wreath!

 I simply took a small willow wreath and whitewashed it.  Then I made four fabric carrots with some vintage paisley fabric that I had, and tied them each up with pastel embroidery floss bows to represent the carrot greens.

Then I cross stitched some sweet little bunnies and made them into tiny pillows.

The pillows were easy to make because I frayed the edges so there was no need to sew and turn.

I then simply attached each pillow and carrot to the willow wreath, with hot glue.

Each pillow is unique in it's own little way, which adds to the charm of this wreath.

If you have never cross stitched before then simple designs like this are a great start and you come out with a finished project rather quickly.

A project such as this {not using traditional Easter fabric} can be brought out for Spring or placed in a baby's room year round.

Once you get into a bunny stitching mood there might be no stopping you!

Sharing more bunny love in the way of a framed nameplate for baby love!

Happy Spring!  May this bunny love be contagious!
