Winter Wonderland {Tradition}

What is better than Walking in a Winter Wonderland?  Maybe ice skating on one!

Lucky for me I live in a City where anything is possible and was excited to find out that The Venetian Hotel would be hosting Winter in Venice this year!

 It was the perfect setting for our party {after eating as a family to celebrate my daughter's birthday} to enjoy some Winter fun!  There was a great atmosphere in the air, with glistening Christmas lights mixed in with all of the lights on The Strip.

 It's right out in front with plenty of other activities going on there too.

* Gondola Rides
* Food Stations
*Christmas Music
*Laser Lights Shows
*Christmas Music
* Live Stage Shows
*and other special events

So we put our BEST foot forward {gee I wonder which one is mine?!} and came up with a plan.

There was dancing!

There was pulling!

There was posing!

There was spinning!

There was speed skating!  {just look at me going so fast I was nearly a blur}

But most of all there were plenty of smiles and helping each other out!

At our house we LOVE going out to find yet another Holiday Tradition to add to our list and ice skating has been at the top of our list of FUN for some time now!  What is a favorite fun tradition for you during the holidays?  I can't wait to hear all about it!

  1. Yeah, fun seeing you on the iceskates which is a very popular sport around here (and we do have some great skaters). Ohh.....wish I could have seen this...or better....been there with you guys. You should indeed be lucky living in Vegas as it indeed offers a lot. I didn't even come around to actually going into the Venezian.
    I guess my favorite tradition is just sitting in a cozy room, chatting with family and/or friends meanwhile drinking and eating.
