Simple Giftgiving {Good Idea}

It's the simple things in life that matter most!  Like this wonderful little treat I found waiting for me!  Thank you Whitney Clissold!  You are too sweet {just like your wonderful cookies}!

This reminded me that whatever you might be doing {like making cookies or cutting roses from your garden} you can always take a moment out to share it with a friend!  I have always tried to do this and it has come back sevenfold, and I am often showered with little gifts from my friends.  I need to show more of them off!  What's your favorite thing to do for a friend?  Anyways have a great day and remember "Do Unto Others As You Would Have Them Do Unto You"!

  1. Don't you love little surprises like that? Sometimes it just makes your day...or week or month! You never know how much power you have to cheer someone up.

  3. Lately I've felt the joy of sending little gifts and cards around. Wendy, you know you were the recipient of some of them. I loved sending them around and hearing my friend's reactions. Cards can bring great joy (small surprises on yr format ) are not expensive and can easily go everywhere. I learned more about the joy of giving and the fun I experienced receiving these little gifts. I am sure that the little gift you had, had a big impact and was the source of moments of joy. These small things can mean more, so much more than we imagine. But we forget sometimes about giving out and need to be reminded, busy as we all are. So good for you to pay attention to giving, receiving and appreciating these little gifts.

  5. Aw, what a sweet friend :) And Wendy, I can just SEE you dropping off little things to friends here and there - that is so YOU :) You have so much to give, and you have so much love for others, of course you would combine your talents with your generosity! And that's why it comes back to you - because you are so beloved :)
