Wedding Day {Tradition}

Everyone loves a wedding!  So much love and excitement in the air!  So when my dear friend asked me to help with her own daughters special day my answer was "I've been waiting for your call"!  She worked so hard for many months, but the Mother of the Bride has better things to do on Wedding Day, and that's where I stepped in.  I hope you enjoy this little peek into that {Oh So Perfect Day} a couple of weekends ago!

Every bride wants her special day to be perfect, and that's another reason why I received this call from my dear friend.  My friend and I go back many, many years and have spent many many hours planning and styling and decorating for A LOT of different types of events during that time.  I love to do this and love helping friends out.  Years have passed and my friend ended up starting a professional wedding planning business, and I {having too many things going on} continued helping friends out when needed!

Here I am at the end of a second 12 hour day of being outside setting everything up just perfect!  My girls came out to help on Wedding Day and yes we're still smiling after all that work!  Who wouldn't though?  Such a perfect event for the perfect girl!  The bride babysat my girls throughout their childhood and then turned into our favorite concert buddy and then into our hairstylist!

A peek at part of the fabulous pool, which was the perfect backdrop to be seen through one of the Wedding Arches.

Lanterns hung from the trees, throughout the dining area, add a special glow.

With even more candle filled lanterns lining the pools edge.

Dazzling Trims and Pearly Pebbles make for beautiful Wedding Candles.

Candlelit Cocktail Tables leading to the Dance Floor.

A sneak peek as they started setting up one of the three lavish food tables, where fruits and vegetables and shrimp and pasta and on and on... seemed to flow endlessly! {Oh and did I mention chocolate?  Both white and milk chocolate flowed from the two chocolate fountains!}

Dozens of simply elegant tables and chairs filled the lawn area and provided the perfect spot for dining.

These crystal centerpieces really set the theme for this classic and elegant wedding.

Little touches at the guest book.  Next to this was a large and fabulous display area with pictures and quotes that told the Love Story of the Perfect Couple. {I was so busy I didn't get pictures of  it, or the ceremony area and masses of candles & lanterns lining the walkway into the wedding.}

Ribbon wands to be passed out and twirled as the Bride and Groom make their get-away to the Honeymoon!

Just like a fairy tale, everything turned out picture perfect!  {These were only a few of the pics snapped by my daughter and I to share a peek into the blessed event.}  What an honor for me to have a part in such an incredible evening.  I am sure that these two will live ... Happily Ever After!
