Christmas Brownies with Peppermint Ice Cream {Recipe}

Looking for a simple yet elegant dessert for the Christmas or Winter Holidays?  You must try making my version of EASY Christmas Brownies with Peppermint Ice Cream!

My Christmas Season got turned on it's side this year from having way too much going on and being sick in the middle of it all!  What is a girl to do?  So I enlisted my talented young adult cooking daughters {yes I have trained them well and they are good} to help with the chopping and cooking of our Extravagant Christmas Dinner!  So when I came to dessert we did it Semi-homemade this year, to give us time to have a great dinner.

I used ~
1 box of Ghirardelli Brownie Mix {simple to make}
I carton of Dreyer's Peppermint Ice Cream {easy to find during Christmas}
Then I had my daughter make the brownies and we then simply topped it off with the delicious ice cream!  Easy and so delightful to taste!  Oh and you should always have these items on hand {to whip up an easy last minute treat} when something unexpected comes up or someone drops by last minute!

I hope that your holiday was filled with warmth and love and family and friendship!  What did you have as a special treat {if any}?

    THANKS so much for pinning my blog about adding bokeh backgrounds! I have gotten lots of hits since you pinned it.

    Wendy, I am SOOOO excited that you are now interested in photography. You have a natural talent for it and learning the Canon Rebel will bring you to an whole new level. You are awesome with just a point and shoot! I'm looking forward to what you do with that camera.
