May Day Tradition {Garden}

Happy May Day!

Well here in the desert get very few April Showers...
and
the biggest blooms for flowers usually take place before May...
but
who doesn't love sticking with tradition
and
saying "April Showers bring May Flowers" anyways!

I shared with you on May Day last year
my love for a childhood tradition of sharing flowers with neighbors.
When my children were small I would gather flowers into little bundles
wrapped in a simple ribbon
and have them help me leave them at the doorsteps of neighbors.

So what's stopping you from gathering some flowers
and
leaving a surprise on someone's doorstep today?

Happy May Day my friends...
remember to take some time today to smell the roses!

  4. Wendy.... what an inspiration you are! My blooms are looking pretty {not nearly as gorgeous as yours} and sharing them with a neighbor is the perfect idea. Alina and I will hand deliver some today! Thank you!
