Pink Roses {Garden}

Collage of Pink Roses I have grown, and a tulip!

PINK

Has there ever been a better color than pink?
I think not!
I am currently involved in a fun project this month.
its the

Today's theme was none other than pink
and
it had me thinking about my garden.

Here is a collage of pink roses that all came from My Garden.
When deciding what to plant I tend to stick with a color theme.
I only plant in shades of pinks with pops of white and purple
but
I would never pull out a wild flower for being the wrong color.
Planting flowers with a theme, such as color, adds drama and impact.

So tell me...
Do you stick to a theme when planting or does anything go?
What is your favorite color anyways?

  1. Absolutely beautiful!

Years ago when we lived in a house with a huge yard, I had a white garden... inpired by Vita Sackville-West. It was small but so fragrant!

  2. Hi Wendy,

Your pink flowers are gorgeous! I have pinks and purples in the front garden and red the back. I just started to add yellow and white.

    1. Thanks Amy! Trial and error, miracle grow, picking the right plant for the amount of sun in that area, a lot of doting of them and luck!

  5. Lovely to see your typical pink roses. Nor Wendy without her PINK roses.

I don't have any theme in my garden. We do plant some 1-years every year but the color changes every year. Now I have some white, purple and yellow flowers (these are permanent ones by the way). I still need to plant some oneyears but I've been so busy that my garden has been neglected.

    1. Ah thanks Monique! Funny thing about gardens is that they will always be waiting for when you have time!
