School let out yesterday for children here in town.
What a perfect morning to explore in my garden.
and see what is blooming!

I love that Summer is here,
along with the promise of tomatoes from my garden!
A perfect lunch is a nice tomato straight off the vine that is warmed from the sun.
They should be fresh at your local farmers markets or gardens too.
So tell me... what is ripe in your neighborhood?
Great pictures. Those tomatoes are just perfect. I like the fuzzy stems and the smell of tomato plants. We've got tomatoes, mint,strawberries and raspberries. Both berries are small plants. That's about it. I'd love to do giant pumpkins sometime!!

DeleteI love tomatoes, in a salad or just for a snack. Here in Holland it's time for strawberries, cauliflower, cucumber and peonies. Enjoying them all!

DeleteI have been eating bok choy and cilantro and basil out of my container garden so far.. the tomatoes are just starting to get flowers. I need to plant my 'salad bowl' seeds soon!
